Eddie fell in love with music at an early age, building drum sets out of cardboard boxes until his parents finally caved. After graduating to real instruments, he attended the University of Michigan, studying percussion with members of the Detroit Symphony, Santa Fe Opera and Yo-Yo Ma’s Silk Road Ensemble. He then received a Master’s in Music Business from NYU, a joint degree from NYU Stern and Steinhardt.
For several years, Eddie was a talent buyer for the famed Rockwood Music Hall in New York’s Lower East Side. There, he became a fundamental ally in the careers of artists from around the world, helping them grow through the power of the live format, learning to appreciate the power that talent and messaging can bring to any audience.
Eddie enjoys sailing, is scared of sharks, and is surprisingly good at writing break-up songs. Newly married, Eddie lives in the East Village and continues trying to convince his wife not to get a dog.
The one thing Eddie can’t live without at a live show?
A pack of gum, so he can be everyone’s hero!
